Eyes Make up Tips, sorme cosmetic
Light Mascara
Why less is more?
Wearing
too much mascara makes 99 percent of us look older then we are. Heavy
lashes can cast shadows under your eyes, accentuating fine lines and
creating dark circles.
How to apply less?
Choose
a lengthening (not thickening) formula to avoid clumps. Apply a maximum
of two coats to upper lashes and one coat to lower, brushing lashes
between coats to get rid of any excess. If your lashes are very fine,
look for a mascara like Rimmel (below) that comes with a minibus; it is
less likely to clump.
Natural Brows
Why you should not overpluck?
Tweezing
should expose the brow bone slightly so that natural light hits it,
giving your eye height and brightness. Tweezing brows into thin lines
or half-moons robs your face of one of its strongest features. Younger
women naturally have fuller brows, it gives a softness.
How to get it right?
Get
a professional browshapping and ask for full but groomed brows (if you
do not dramatically alter your natural shape the easier it will be to
maintain yourself). When touching up your brows, stand back from the
mirror so you can see your whole face. Otherwise they will seem thicker
than they really are.
Subtle eye shadow
Why less is more?
Wearing too much eye shadow draws attention to your makeup, instead of your face.
How to apply less?
To
keep shadow subtle, look for a sheer, creamy texture; it will go on as
a delicate wash of color so your skin shows through. Powders, by
contrast, are so dry they can make colors look flat and unnatural. When
choosing a shade, look for one that works with your skin tone. If you
have a peaches - and - cream complexion, choose colors like shimmery
taupe or gold-flecked rose; rich jewel tones like emerald and plum
complement darker skin tones.
Softy Blended Eyeliner
Why less is more?
Heavily lined eyes tend to look small and closed. By applying less and blending, you get a cleaner, more defined look.
How to get it right?
Dubroff
suggests using cream liner instead of a conventional pencil. It goes on
as a diffused base color, not a solid line, so it looks more natural.
Apply along the upper lash lines only with a liner brush, and smudge
with a clean, dry cotton swab. If you want not smoky effect, do not use
black liner ¨C it is too dark for most skin tones.
